SSCs bring the energy! They're highly positive and are our students' biggest fans. Coaches are enthusiastic educators with a genuine passion for supporting students. They believe every student can be successful when given access to opportunities.
Our SSC's create Student Success Plans that map out the educational journey to graduation and beyond for every student they serve. They ensure everybody is working towards their goals with regular, frequent check-ins where meaningful conversations take place.
SSCs are expert communicators. They listen to their students to identify their unique communication styles and work within them. They lay out goals with their students and establish regular check-ins. SSCs lean into respectful, honest conversations with their students.
SSCs care deeply about students and believe in them. Our coaches identify their students' needs and either provide resources for them or find ways to get students what they need. They speak up for their students, advocating for them when they need that extra support.
SSC's realize it is no longer enough to provide academic support only to students. They empower their students to tackle life and educational challenges. They work with students to have confidence in their critical thinking, problem solving and team working abilities.
Our SSCs are encouraged to identify each students' needs and find unique ways to engage with them. Coaches always want to learn more about their students. They embrace trying new processes and technologies, recognizing all of the different ways to reach our goals.
